The State of Florida allows these class to either be in-person or online. We like to take advantage of the convenience of completing it in your own time, but have the access to the instructor for questions and exam help.
Our Pre-Licensing Agent Success Tool Kit includes:
- An online and on-demand class from the convenience of your own home
- Access to our unique add-on, on-demand videos explaining the “hard stuff”
- Pop-in Q & A Nights with Instructors,
- Access to Success Help Club
- Ability to retake the class for free if you do not pass,
- Free access to our Live Online Exam Prep Class, this 3 hour personalized class with an instructor is very helpful to pass your exam
- Three free months to the Real Estate Professional Network after you get your license.

Step 2 – State Registration
Complete Fingerprinting
The FREC will conduct a criminal background check using your fingerprints. Here is an instruction sheet: http://www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr/servop/testing/documents/finger_faq.pdf
Here is a link to find a finger printing location near you: http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/Criminal-History-Records/Documents/InternetDoc_ServiceProviders_June.aspx
File DBPR License Application
You must apply for your Florida sales associate license with the Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR). Here is the link to the application: http://www.MyFloridaLicense.com
Schedule State Exam
Once your DBPR application is approved, you schedule your state exam. You may schedule your exam before you have completed the course, but you must have passed the Pre-Licensing Class BEFORE taking the test. Here is a link to VUE locations. You will receive an email from Pearson VUE with your FLREAPP number after you schedule your appointment.

Step 3 – State Exam
The state exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions. You must score at least a 75%. You will be issued your Florida real estate sales associate license as soon as you pass.
There is a 50% fail rate on the first attempt so we recommend students take an exam prep class prior to the state exam, ESPECIALLY if it has been a long time since you took your Pre-Licensing Class OR you took your Pre-Licensing via an online only at another school.
Our Exam Crams are twice a month and Live Online with an opportunity to ask your questions and focus on the challenges you might be having. We highly recommend that you get the Exam Cram manual and take the practice tests inside.
